Welcome to Shop Chairity! 100% of ALL proceeds go to supporting our program, which provides the essentials of home to families across Wake County facing the challenges of homelessness, crisis or disaster - Furnishing Homes, Changing Lives.
All of the items we sell are donated. You will find that many of our items are brand new, never used or gently used. Other items are antiques that are hard to find and considered ‘great finds.’ Below is our scale for classifying items. As a reminder, because our prices are set to move the inventory, all sales are final. We want you to have confidence in your purchase, and we do our best to make note of defects in the item descriptions.

LOCAL PICK UP ONLY. For furniture pickup, please email shop@thegreenchair.org to schedule. Please text or call 919-413-2260 when you arrive for pickup.
All sales are final - no refunds. Please ask questions and review photos carefully before purchasing.
Orders must be picked up within 14 days of purchase or the item(s) will be considered donated back to Green Chair. All sales are final and non refundable so please make sure you get your item(s).
Items MUST be picked up in person from our office. Shipping is not offered. Delivery within Wake County is available for $100 - please contact us to schedule and purchase delivery.
Item pick up is Monday through Friday, 10am to 4pm, excluding Holidays and Special Hours. If you need different pick up times, please contact us for accommodations.
Typical processing time after placing an order is 2-3 business days. Larger items may have a longer processing time, due to needing to move items, and acquiring extra personnel to make the item accessible. You will receive an email from us once your item is ready for pick up.
Please contact us, before purchasing the item, if you will need expedited pick up and processing times.

ABOUT US
Your purchase helps The Green Chair Project provide the essentials of home to families throughout Wake County facing the challenges of homelessness, crisis or disaster. With the added strain that COVID-19 has recently brought to so many, this is especially needed support to provide beds and cribs for children, and furniture for families otherwise living without during this crisis. CONDITION SCALE
NEW
If we are certain that an item is new and has not been used, the word ‘New’ will be in the title. For example, New Pottery Barn Glasses, set of two.
Most of our New items are in excellent condition, however we sometimes receive new items that have slight defects (which will be noted in the description and classified ‘Very Good’ or ‘Good’).
EXCELLENT
The item is in excellent condition, appears to have not been used, and has no scratches or visible wear.
VERY GOOD
The item has minimal wear, it could be new but may have a slight imperfection. This item could be a second or sample from a retailer or wholesaler.
GOOD
This item has visible wear but still a great find.
VINTAGE
An item whose age is part of its appeal. These can be in ‘Excellent’, ‘Very Good’ or ‘Good’ condition which will be indicated in the description.
